| The Mediterranean Adventure~ A grand adventure along Turkey's southwest coast includes a mediterranean cruise on a Turkish gulet, fun filled days exploring historical sites, experiencing village life, and topping it off with a mountain jeep safari! We begin this adventure by exploring the historical sights of Istanbul, and then we fly south to a mountain village near Bodrum to relax and experience the traditional way of life in Turkey. Our fun filled days will include learning the arts of cooking Turkish food, carpet weaving, music and dance, and a discovering the very warm feeling of Turkish hospitality. From
there, the adventure continues with a jeep safari and a mini
Mediterranean cruise from Marmaris to Fethiye. This Mediterranean
cruise is not your typical cruise on a big cruise ship! No, we take it
to a more personal and traditional level; it's called The Blue Voyage.
A Turkish built wooden gulet is our home for 4 days while we wander
along the coastline exploring Lycian ruins, sunken cities, and quaint
coastal villages. 12 nights/13 days of adventure along Turkey's Mediterranean Coast. This is budget travel at it's finest! A warm and welcoming experience in Turkish Hospitality.  Blue Voyage
is the term used to describe this type of Mediterranean cruise. The
captain and crew are very experienced in handling the boat and catering
to all our needs. Delicious Turkish food will be lovingly prepared by
our chef, including 3 meals and afternoon tea each day.  The Turkish coastline
is embroidered with beautiful bays and islands. In a backdrop of lush
green hills and mountain sides, Turkey's glorious beaches are among the
best in the Mediterranean. You will enjoy the golden sand and crystal
clear water that is perfect for swimming and water sports. At Gokpinar village we will discover Turkish Hospitality at it finest! Bulent and his family welcome us to learn the traditional way of life in a nomadic village high upon the mountain top with beautiful views...a relaxing getaway. We will have cooking classes, learn drumming and dancing, and see the local sites and meet the local poeple who call this place home.   |
